The Junior Society
Launched in 2005, The Junior Society is a dynamic group of young professionals passionate about protecting children and furthering the lifesaving mission of The NYSPCC. The group supports the agency by serving as ambassadors, cultivating prospective volunteers and donors, and fundraising. Members come from varied backgrounds, including finance, entertainment, real estate, fashion, marketing, etc.

In 2020, The Junior Society conducted three virtual events: Cook with Me, with Chef Madison Papp; a Mixology & Trivia Night; and an online auction, offering incredible items and experiences. All of their hard work and dedication to The Society helped to raise over $23,000, exceeding their goal for the year.
On September 27, 2019, The NYSPCC Junior Society hosted their annual cocktail party fundraiser. Themed ‘Under the Stars’, this year’s event was held at The Penthouse at The Standard East Village. Proceeds from the evening benefit The NYSPCC’s programs that protects children, strengthens families, and helps kids heal from abuse. If you were unable to attend, but still wish to support The NYSPCC.
On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, Junior Society members MaryKate Boylan, Eva Fass, and Carolina Ortiz, hosted an in-store shopping event at jewelry store, Monica Vinader. Guests received 10% off their purchase and free engraving. 10% of sales were donated to The NYSPCC. Photos of the event can be viewed here.
Hope Flows Yoga Fundraiser
On Sunday, December 16, 2018, The Junior Society held the first Hope Flows yoga fundraiser. Thank you so much to Earth Yoga NYC for donating the studio! The afternoon consisted of an hour long yoga class, followed by refreshments courtesy of JUS by Julie and raffle prizes.
