Tania Higgins has been active with The NYSPCC since 2012 and has served on The NYSPCC Children’s Council since April 2016. She has served as a Co-chair for the Spring Luncheon since 2012 and Co-chaired the 2014 Annual Gala. Tania earned her MSW from The Columbia University School of Social Work and worked as a social worker for many years. Tania is an active philanthropist whose primary causes are women, children, breast cancer and issues surrounding youth and adult mental health. She is actively involved with the Harlem Children’s Zone and is on the board of the Southampton Fresh Air Home (a camp for physically handicapped children) and the Leadership Council at the NY Stem Cell Foundation. Tania’s husband Brian is also a board member at the Harlem Children’s Zone. Tania and her husband live in NYC with their three children.
Oerta Trepca is an Associate Director for Nasdaq’s Global Corporate Services division as an advisory analyst focusing on the Basic Materials sector. Oerta has 6 years of experience advising Investor Relations Officers, senior management teams and Board of Directors on investor relations best practices, shareholder activity and market trends. Oerta holds a BBA/BS dual degree in international marketing practices and business economics from Pace University. She has been a volunteer for the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC), since college as a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and worked to organize fundraisers for NYSPCC with fellow chapter members of Eta Iota. Oerta has served as a committee member of the NYPCC’s Junior Society since 2017 and is currently President of the Junior Society.
