Summary

During this unprecedented time, many individuals, especially youth are experiencing a profound sense of grief in response to personal and community losses. The Supporting Youth with Grief and Loss training educates clinicians and front-line workers about grief and loss, including factors that complicate or prolong grief responses and examples of common grief responses across various youth ages and developmental stages. Grief responses can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate, particularly for youth, who are dealing with many factors and the uncertainty regarding what the future will bring. This training will include strategies and resources to support adults when working with youth to cope with grief and loss.
