History

Incorporated on April 29, 1875, the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC) was the first child protection agency in the nation. Throughout its distinguished history, The NYSPCC has sought to develop and implement innovative mental health, legal and educational programs that protect children from harm and ensure their healthy development.
