This course is for all School Board Members, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Nurses, Resource Officers and Teachers Aides who are employed or contracted to work in an educational setting in both public and private schools across New York State. This course can also be taken by other school personnel who have fulfilled the training requirement for mandated reporting under Social Services Law.  This 1-hour, interactive online course teaches school personnel how to recognize and report child abuse in an educational setting in accordance with New York State’s 2018 Amendment to Education Law Article 23-B. Following completion of this course, participants will receive a receipt of completion to satisfy the state's training requirements that should be kept for one’s own records and given to the appropriate school administrator(s).

This course is for all teachers, counselors, administrators, social workers, psychologists and bus drivers who are mandated reporters and employed or contracted to work in an educational setting in both public and private schools across New York State. This COMBINED, 2.5-hour, interactive online course teaches school personnel how to recognize and report child abuse and neglect in an educational setting in accordance with New York State mandated reporting laws and the 2018 Amendment to Education Law Article 23-B. Following completion of this course, participants will receive two certificates to satisfy the state's training requirements.

This course is for mandated reporters who are employed in settings other than a public or private school in New York State.This two-hour, self-paced, online course, approved by the New York State Department of Education, teaches professionals who work with children and youth how to identify signs of abuse and neglect and understand their legal obligations for reporting under Social Services Law. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion that they can file with the state.
