According to SAMSHA, An estimated 46% of children experience trauma at some point in their young lives. Traumatic events can affect how a child’s brain develops, which can have lifelong consequences for them physically, mentally, and socially. Recognizing the profound impact of trauma on a child's development, behavior, and overall well-being is vital. This 2-hour course is designed to equip adults with the essential knowledge needed to understand trauma,  special considerations related to trauma, its impact on children, and ways to support those who have experienced trauma.
