Prevention Education for Faculty

Our child sexual abuse prevention trainings are designed to give faculty and staff the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to prevent, identify, and report abuse. Using lecture and group discussion, this interactive, 90-minute training equips participants with the knowledge they need to protect themselves and the children they work with. Participants learn about child sexual abuse myths, facts, and statistics, signs and symptoms of child sexual abuse, and normal child sexual development and behavior. Participants are also given the tools to handle a disclosure of abuse, to teach prevention concepts to youth, and to effectively report suspected child abuse or neglect.
