Summary

This workshop is designed to provide caregivers with an understanding of mandated reporting and child protection laws in New York State. Participants will learn the legal definitions of child abuse and maltreatment and the role of mandated reporters. Participants will gain knowledge of caregiver rights and will be better equipped to advocate for themselves while navigating systems.
